This blog is the result of a request from a younger sister who realized that the memory banks of those we have depended upon are fast being depleted....both the number of folks having those banks, and the quality of recall available! As I am the firstborn daughter of the blog title, I am in charge! (Well, of lots of things, but mostly of the memories that are important to the maintenance of our family history.)
The request was for especially the 1960's and 1970's events that the younger sisters may not recall...since they were busy being adolescents.
My skills with the technology of providing pictures and other visuals are somewhat...ok, really limited. I hope to lasso my son-in-law to scan some really old pictures so that I can illustrate that I remember correctly. I know that I do, of course, but there are always those who doubt.
